Organizations

An organization within Beacon is the upper most entity within Beacon. Users belong to one or more organizations. Robots belong to a single organization. All of your data, events, analytics and more is secured to the organization from which it originated.

When you login, Beacon automatically checks to see which organization you belong to. If you already belong to one or more organizations, you will be authenticated to those organizations. You can easily switch between organizations with the application.

If you’re new to Beacon and don’t yet belong to any organization, a new organization will automatically be created for you. In a new organization, you will be the administrator of the organization. As the administrator, you have full access to everything in your organization, including naming your organization.
